Enrique Hersman, President
Mr. Hersman, President and Founder of G&E Florida Contractors, is a veteran in the construction field with over twenty-four years of experience in high-rise construction, home building, and the real-estate sector of the industry today. Mr. Hersman founded G&E in 1991, and since then, he has overseen various residential high rise projects in Florida such as:

Mr. Hersman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. His Original approach to managing the company and his ability to quickly analyze markets have been directly responsible for the company’s success, and have made G&E Florida Contractors one of the leading concrete construction companies in South Florida. Mr. Hersman’s commitment to provide competitive pricing and to strictly adhere to time schedules has allowed him to build a well-financed and active company that is respected in the concrete building market. Mr. Hersman received the Outstanding Performance Award granted by Turner Construction.




Mauricio Acosta, P.E., Executive Vice President

Mr. Acosta, Executive Vice President at G&E Florida Contractors, Heads up estimating department and corporate office administration. He first joined G&E in the year 2000 and worked in various field activities. Currently, Mauricio is second in command and oversees the estimating department and all corporate administration.

Mr. Acosta holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Construction Project Management from Saint Thomas University in Bogota’, Colombia. He has worked for over twenty five years in the construction industry and has participated in numerous projects ranging from educational facilities and neighborhood parks to retail shopping centers, office complexes and residential high rises. Mauricio has through knowledge of all aspects of the Construction Market, and he has extensive experience in scheduling, cost control and project management. His reputation for creative problem solving and project leadership has greatly contributed to the continued growth and success of G&E.

 

 

Huffman Trusty, Vice President of Operations

Mr. Trusty, Vice President of Operations at G&E Florida Contractors, manages all construction projects on a day to day operations level. He joined G&E in 2002 and has overseen several high-rises ranging from 10 floors to 52 floors with 450+ workers in the field along with project managers and superintendents.

Mr. Trusty attended Notre Dame University studying Business Administration and Finance. With over 20 years in the industry and due to his extensive field experience and sophistication on the corporate level, he has the ability to wear all hats of the construction industry and can resolve and/or implement procedures to maintain schedule, quality, and most of all safety in the field. He has extensive experience on a wide spectrum of the industry from project management of numerous Disney World and Universal Studio Hotels and Theme Park construction projects to being the Senior Project Manager for the Concrete Shell on the Tallest Building in Florida (Four Seasons 789 ft, 70 floors, the 49th tallest building in the US, 174th in the World).

 

 

Javier Gonzalez, Senior Project Manager

Mr. Gonzalez, Senior Project Manager at G&E Florida Contractors, oversees all Project Managers and General Superintendents at jobsite level. He joined G&E in 2004 and has been intricately involved in numerous successful projects during his tenure. He has managed multiple high-rises with hundreds of workers and supervisory personnel at a time.

Mr. Gonzalez attended Florida International University, studying School of Construction Management and Engineering. He holds a Florida State License as a Certified General Contractor. He brings a broad knowledge of the Public Sector via working for years with one of the Largest Public Division General Contractors in Florida. Thus with this knowledge he has brought to the table a timely and structured style needed to maintain critical path, while presenting a safe and efficient environment in the field.

Ronald Coletto, P.A. Chief Estimator

Mr. Coletto joined G&E in the year 2004, been the chieft estimator and business division as one of the company's estimators. Mr. Coletto holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Rafael Urdaneta University in Venezuela, and he is also certified in the state of Florida as General Contractor.

As a member of the estimating department, Ronald participates overseeing the pricing, scheduling, and cost control processes of all construction projects. A self-motivated, creative, insightful and results oriented professional, Mr. Coletto brings an innovative approach to all the phases of design and development.
