We specialize in High – Rise residential buildings, multi level parking structures, as well as office buildings and hotels.

MISSION STATEMENT

What sets us apart from all the other contractors in Florida? 

We at G&E, from the onset have the mentality that the Clients desires come first and everything else takes a backseat. The “W.I.T.” is frequently used at G&E, which refers to (whatever it takes).

Sounds good and quite appealing, but how is this applied in our everyday operation? We all know that in the world of new construction and restoration, not all scope issues are black and white and are sometimes mixed in with a wonderful tint of grey. This is where “W.I.T.” comes into play. Our philosophy at G&E, obviously within reason, is to get the work done first.

We accomplish this by being a team player and truly work together to build a partnering relationship and reach a common goal. At the end of the day, our goal is to have given the client a successful service in which you are willing to give us a positive recommendation which has more value than petty issues that may arise throughout the life of our project.

EXECUTIVE PROFILES

Enrique Hersman, PRINCIPAL / CEO

Enrique, CEO and founder of G&E is a veteran in the construction field with over twenty eight years of experience in high-rise construction and concrete restoration. His commitment to provide competitive pricing and to strictly adhere to time schedule has allowed him to build a well respected company in the construction market. Mr. Hersman holds a bachelors of science in business administration from the University of Florida.

Mauricio Acosta U, P.E. PRESIDENT / CFO

With more than forty-five years in the industry, Mauricio has thorough knowledge of all aspects of the construction market and has extensive experience in scheduling, budgeting, cost control and project management. Mr. Acosta holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering and a master’s degree in construction projects management from Saint Thomas University.

Gustavo Jaramillo, Executive Vice President 

With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Gustavo Jaramillo brings a powerful combination of technical expertise and hands-on leadership to G&E Florida Contractors. His background spans multiple construction disciplines—including structural steel fabrication and erection, deep foundations, concrete work, and concrete reinforcement—giving him a comprehensive understanding of complex project demands. Gustavo holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering, along with a minor in Industrial Technology, equipping him with the analytical and operational insight that elevates every project he leads. His commitment to excellence continues to drive innovation, precision, and trusted results across South Florida.
